Glean for Good

Our staple program that focuses on linking volunteers, edible tree owners, and hunger relief programs.

SETP started this program by noticing the need for fresh produce in food banks and community kitchens. The solution was to tap into Spokane's abundance of fresh edible trees in local neighborhoods and farms.

We continually contact edible tree owners and to find out if they are willing to donate the produce left over after their personal harvest. SETP arranges for volunteers to go harvest or pick up produce from participating tree owners. The donated produce is then delivered directly to local food banks and/or community kitchens.
