End of Season Glean

Join Spokane Edible Tree Project (SETP) for our 6th annual End of Season Glean! Every year, after U-pick apple season is over, SETP unites the community to harvest the last of Green Bluff's apples to be donated to a good cause. With the help of our community partners, we send the apples out to those who need them most, doing our part to soothe the challenges of hunger and food waste in our community. We need to harvest between 10,000 - 20,000 pounds of apples, and we need your help!

We will meet at Hidden Acres Orchards to go over ground rules, how to harvest, safety procedures, and general training. There is no experience necessary. We will split up into teams to go harvest as many apples as we can at participating Green Bluff farms throughout the area! Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toed shoes, and dress for the weather.

After Party!

After we have finished the glean, be sure to join us for our end of season after party at Big Barn Brewery at approximately 1:30pm (when we are done gleaning)! Big Barn is located in close proximity to our meeting place for the glean at Hidden Acres. $1 from each pour will go to benefit SETP for the day, and food will be provided for our guests. The event is family friendly, and all are welcome!
